THAT DARN CAT!

Petey is losing weight!

Confirmed by two witnesses.

They came in  the house - they saw -they commented:

Hey, he looks smaller 

(not so freakish I believe was the precise term)

Our goal is to weigh in at 15 pounds - these are eyeball estimates as we do not own a scale

At his heaviest he was probably 22 (last time he was at the vet he was 21)

I think now he is around 19.

Cat weight loss takes time!

According the experts:  Cats have a unique metabolic response to fasting and whenever a feline's intake is rapidly and markedly depressed a serious and potentially fatal disorder can occur called Hepatic Lipidosis-- So be careful!

New Food

Petey is eating FROMM SURF AND TURF FOR CATS

No grains - he seems to really like it!

Should be healthier -  cats are supposed to only eat pure protein.
